HEI handles all the steps involved with Real Estate Inspections - working with Real Estate Agents, the permit, help with the required paperwork, and filing the report with the state.
Septic system inspections are required by New Mexico State whenever a property with a septic system is transferred to a new owner. A septic system inspection includes pumping out the system and inspecting the tank(s) and other components (such as Chlorinators, Aerators, Pumps, etc). Not all septic systems are the same.
When you require a septic system inspection, first get a permit from the [
New Mexico Environmental Department ]. The NMENV website provides complete information relating to septic tank permitting and the permit PDF. Or, click on the following link to get the form [
Application for a Liquid Waste Permit or Registration ]. Then, fill out the top half of Page 1, and sign and date Page 2.
Humphrey's Enterprises has several nationally certified septic inspectors and will be happy to inspect your system when you need it, or HEI will arrange with the state to do a state inspection if there is no permit.
Our inspections are NAWT certified.
